The CMU Portugal Program is an education, research, and innovation 
platform that connects Portuguese research institutions, universities 
and companies in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), one 
of the best Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) universities.

The Program offers top dual degree doctoral programs

in cutting-edge focused areas of ICT. Upon the Ph. D. program 
completion, graduates receive two degrees, one from CMU, and another 
degree from the partner university in Portugal. All courses are 
conducted in English, both in Portugal and at Carnegie Mellon. 
Scholarships are available on a competitive basis.
