A FCT informa que no âmbito do Programa UT Austin Portugal em breve irá abrir o Concurso de Projetos Exploratórios de Investigação financiado pela FCT. Nesse sentido, o Programa está a criar uma bolsa de oportunidades de cooperação para facilitar o matchmaking de investigadores em Portugal e em UT Austin com potencial interesse em desenvolver propostas conjuntas a submeter no âmbito da chamada para o Concurso de Projetos Exploratórios de Investigação, que se centrará nas seguintes áreas:

 

•Advanced Computing (High Performance Computing, High Throughput Computing and Quantum Computing);

•Medical Physics for Emerging Cancer Therapies;

•Nano Materials for New Markets;

•Space-Earth Interactions.

Não há “deadline” porque esta oportunidade vai estar aberta até encerrar a call para Projetos Exploratórios. A questão é que ainda não sabemos quando vai abrir.

Cooperation Profiles for Faculty Matchmaking
under upcoming Exploratory Research Projects Call




Within the scope of an upcoming Call for Exploratory Research Projects (ERPs), the UT Austin Portugal Program aims to accelerate the creation of partnering opportunities between Portugal and UT Austin, facilitating the future submission of applications and potential funding opportunities. 

Start promoting your research collaboration interests before the Call opens to quickly find the right partner to team up with and build a strong joint proposal!

 

What are Exploratory Research Projects (ERPs)?

 
ERPs are short-term, ground-breaking scientific projects, targeting the Program’s strategic areas and fostering collaborative research work between non-corporate research organizations in Portugal and the University of Texas at Austin. In September, FCT will be opening the 2019 Call for Exploratory Research Projects, within the UT Austin Portugal Program. 

Why should you publish a cooperation profile in advance? 

A highly quality cooperation profile gives you the opportunity to promote your research focus, state what type of collaboration you are seeking, and grab the attention of other researchers and faculty at UT Austin/ in Portugal searching for partners with the same profile as yours, in order to develop a successful project application for the available funding scheme. 


If you are a researcher in a Portuguese non-corporate R&D institution or a Principal Investigator (PI) at UT Austin with strong research interests in the topics below
