EDITAL PARA A ATRIBUIÇÃO DE BOLSAS DE INVESTIGAÇÃO PARA MESTRE

NO ÂMBITO DO PROJETO C&D SafeForest

 

 

Bolsa: 2 (Duas) Bolsas de Investigação (BI) para Mestre

O Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica - Universidade de Coimbra (ISR-UC) abre concurso para a atribuição de duas (2) Bolsas de Investigação (BI) para Mestre no âmbito do Projeto de I&D Industrial à Escala Europeia:  SafeForest - Semi-Autonomous Robotic System for Forest Cleaning and Fire Prevention, com a referência nº/045931/2020 financiado financiado pelo Fundo Europeu para o Desenvolvimento Regional, no âmbito do concurso CENTRO-01-0247-FEDER-045931 e por fundos nacionais através do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior.

 

Área Científica: Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores, ou afins.

 

Requisitos de admissão:  A este concurso podem concorrer Mestres nas áreas de Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores, ou afins,  que sejam  elegíveis pelas  normas do  Regulamento de Bolsas de Investigação da FCT,I.P, em vigor         ( <https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt> https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt). 

 

Plano de Trabalhos: Os candidatos selecionados irão trabalhar em ações inovadoras no desenvolvimento de tecnologias robóticas de prevenção de incêndios florestais e de interfaces urbano-florestais (WWUI).

 

Formalização de candidaturas: As candidaturas deverão ser enviadas em formato pdf para lara at isr.uc.pt <mailto:lara at isr.uc.pt>  colocando no assunto do email: SafeForest-BI Mestre. Deverá ser enviada a seguinte documentação: Curriculum Vitae (CV), certificado de habilitações incluindo discriminação das classificações obtidas nas disciplinas do respetivo curso e classificação final, e carta de motivação. Os candidatos com graus académicos obtidos no estrangeiro terão de apresentar Certidão de registo de reconhecimento de acordo com a legislação aplicável.

Prazo para formalização da candidatura: O concurso encontra-se aberto no período de 12 a 25 de maio de 2020.

Legislação e regulamentação aplicável: Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação Científica, aprovado pela Lei nº 40/2004 de 18 de agosto, alterado e republicado pelo Decreto-Lei nº 202/2012 de 27 de agosto, pelo Decreto-Lei nº 89/2013 de 9 de julho, pelo Decreto-Lei nº 233/2012 de 29 de outubro, e pela Lei nº 12/2013 de 29 de janeiro, e alterado pelo Decreto-Lei nº123/2019 de 28 de agosto, na redação em vigor ( <https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/estatutobolseiro> https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/estatutobolseiro)  e Regulamento de Bolsas de Investigação da FCT, I. Local de trabalho: O trabalho será desenvolvido nas instalações do Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica - Universidade de Coimbra (ISR-UC), sob a orientação científica do Professor Doutor Aníbal Traça de Almeida.

Duração da bolsa: As bolsas terão a duração de 6 meses, com possibilidade de renovação durante o período de duração do projeto, em regime de exclusividade, conforme o regulamento de formação avançada de recursos humanos da FCT.

Valor do subsídio de manutenção mensal: O montante da bolsa corresponde a 1.064,00€, conforme tabela de valores das bolsas atribuídas diretamente pela FCT, I.P. no País ( <https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt> https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt).

Métodos de seleção: Os métodos de seleção a utilizar serão os seguintes: avaliação curricular, com valoração de 50% para as habilitações académicas e 50% para o grau de satisfação dos requisitos relativos a conhecimentos e experiência. Caso o Júri o considere necessário, poderá ser realizada entrevista aos candidatos colocados nas três primeiras posições de acordo com a ordenação resultante dos critérios anteriores. Neste caso, a pontuação final incluirá a avaliação curricular (como acima descrito), com valoração de 90%, e a entrevista, com valoração de 10%. Caso nenhum dos candidatos possua o perfil adequado (avaliação global inferior a 50%), as bolsas não serão atribuídas.

Forma de publicitação/notificação dos resultados: Os resultados finais da avaliação serão publicitados, através de lista ordenada por nota final obtida, sendo os candidatos(as) notificados(as) através de email. Após a divulgação dos resultados através de email os candidatos devem considerar-se, desde logo, notificados para, querendo, se pronunciarem em sede de audiência prévia no prazo máximo de 10 dias úteis após aquela data. No término deste prazo os candidatos selecionados devem considerar-se convocados para iniciar a bolsa. 

CALL FOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS FOR MASTERS UNDER THE C&D SafeForest PROJECT

 

Scholarship: 2 (Two) Research Grants (BI) for Master

The Systems and Robotics Institute - University of Coimbra (ISR-UC) opens the call for applications for two scholarships (2) Research Grants (BI) for Master in the scope of the Industrial R&D Project on the European Scale: SafeForest - Semi-Robotics Autonomous Forest Cleaning and Fire Prevention System, with reference number / 045931/2020 financed by the European Fund for Regional Development, within the scope of the CENTRO-01-0247-FEDER-045931 call and by public funds from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education.

 

Scientific Area: Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar.

 

Admission requirements: This contest can compete for Masters in the areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar, which are eligible under the rules of the FCT, IP Research Scholarship Regulation, in effect (https://www.fct.pt / support / scholarships / regulation.phtml.pt).

 

Work Plan: The selected candidates will work on innovative actions in the development of robotic forest fire prevention technologies and urban-forest interfaces (WWUI).

The following documentation must be sent: Curriculum Vitae (CV), qualification certificate including breakdown of the ratings obtained in the subjects of the respective course and final classification, and letter of motivation. Applicants with academic degrees obtained abroad will be required to present a Certificate of Recognition in accordance with applicable law.

Deadline for formalizing the application: The competition is open from May, 12 to May, 25, 2020

Workplace: The work will be developed at the premises of the Systems and Robotics Institute - University of Coimbra (ISR-UC), under the scientific guidance of Professor Doutor Aníbal Traça de Almeida.

Duration of the scholarship: The scholarships will have a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal for the duration of the project, on an exclusive basis, in accordance with FCT's advanced human resources training regulation.

Value of monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the scholarship corresponds to € 1064.00, according to ( <https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt> https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/regulamento.phtml.pt).

Selection methods: The selection methods to be used will be the following: curriculum evaluation, with a 50% rating for academic qualifications and 50% for the degree of satisfaction of the requirements regarding knowledge and experience. If the Jury deems it necessary, an interview can be conducted to the candidates placed in the first three positions according to the ranking resulting from the previous criteria. In this case, the final score will include the curriculum evaluation (as described above), with a 90% rating, and the interview, with a 10% rating. If none of the candidates has the appropriate profile (global assessment below 50%), the scholarships will not be awarded.

Form of publicity / notification of the results: The final results of the evaluation will be publicized, through a list ordered by the final grade obtained, with the candidates being notified by email. After the dissemination of the results through e-mail, the candidates must consider themselves, from the outset, notified to, if they wish, express themselves in a prior hearing within a maximum period of 10 working days after that date. At the end of this period, the selected candidate must consider himself summoned to start the scholarship.
