Dear colleagues,
Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this message. Please note
that*IEEE SiPS'20 has moved to a virtual format *and the *deadline of
May 31st *(final, no extensions) is quickly approaching.
In attachment you can find the call for papers of the 2020 edition of
the International IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS). We
encourage you to forward it to interested colleagues.
Best regards,

*[IEEE SiPS 2020 (Oct. 20-22nd) is going virtual.
Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, the
Organizing Committee has decided to move IEEE SiPS 2020 to a purely
virtual event. The safety of all participants is our highest priority.
In order to accommodate this decision we have decided to extend the
submission deadline (FINAL) until May 31st, 2020.]*
We would like to encourage the community to submit excellent research
work. The IEEE SiPS 2020 submission and acceptance procedures will
continue normally. We will follow up with more details on conference
registration, presentation and video formats, special sessions and PhD
Forum. As before, all accepted papers will be published by IEEE in the
conference proceedings and also on IEEE Xplore.
*SiPS 2020 - IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Systems October 20-22,
2020, Coimbra, Portugal*
SiPS 2020 is a forum devoted to the area of design and implementation of
signal processing systems. This is the first time SiPS takes place in
Coimbra, Portugal, featuring a comprehensive program, including
technical workshops, tutorials, demonstrations and exhibitions. Top
notch research and experiences related with hardware and software
optimization and implementation of signal processing systems, machine
learning for signal processing, design methods of signal processing
systems and signal processing application systems are welcome. The prime
theme of the 2020 edition addresses all kinds of novel investigation
“Towards Intelligent and Energy-Efficient Signal Processing Systems.”
The 2020 edition of SiPS will also include a PhD forum where senior PhD
students will be invited to present their research topics to a panel of
experts who will provide constructive feedback.
For those willing to submit a 6 pages paper on any of the topics of SiPS
2020, please note that the *extended deadline for paper submission is
May 31st 2020*.
