Job: 2 (two) Research Fellowship for Bachelors.

Sub research field: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Eng., Biomedical Eng., Physics, Mathematics, Physical Eng. or related areas.

Job description:

The Institute of Systems and Robotics - University of Coimbra (ISR-UC) opens the call for applications for two (2) Research Fellowship for Bachelors in the scope of the R&D exploratory project: AI+Green - “Intelligent Automation in Precise Agriculture”, under the reference MIT-EXPL / TDI / 0029/2019, financed by FCT under the MIT Portugal 2019 Program.

 

Admission requirements: Bachelor students in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Eng., Biomedical Eng., Physics, Mathematics, Physical Eng., or related areas.

 

Work Plan: development and implementation of AI/ML techniques to process satellite and UAS (drone) imagery for precision agriculture domains and annotation of datasets as well. The work plan will focus on Tasks related to UAV / drone remote sensing, and AI-ML probabilistic information-fusion of the project.
