A IEEE Portugal Section gostaria de vir por este meio solicitar a 
divulgacao do Global Electric Vehicle Challenge junto dos vossos 
departamentos e centros de investigação conforme o email abaixo. Haverá 
um evento online no dia 23 de janeiro de 2021 para esclarecer as dúvidas 
de eventuais equipas. Seria uma honra ter uma equipa de estudantes a 
representar Portugal neste desafio.

Dear Catarina,

The Global Electric Vehicle Challenge (GEVC) is a new international 
student competition in which university student teams design, build and 
race full size formula-style electric cars.  I would like to request 
your assistance in sharing information about the competition with IEEE 
student branches and universities in Portugal.

The official website is https://gevc.globaleee.org/ 
<https://gevc.globaleee.org/> and we will be holding an online meeting 
on 23 January 2021 to provide a general overview and to answer team 
questions.  Universities wishing to participate should visit the website 
to request the official rules and regulations and to sign up for the 23 
January meeting.

we look forward to having at least one team representing Portugal at the 
competition.
