We are looking for 1 Early Stage Researcher for a 36-month contract 
within the 5GSmartFact project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 
2020 research & innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie – 
ITN, Industrial Doctorate program.

The ESR will be hosted by Ingeniarius, Ltd. in Alfena, Porto 
(Portugal),as one of the fourteen Ph.D. students of the European 
Industrial Doctorate (EID) Training Network with a degree awarded by the 
University of Coimbra (Portugal) and a 7-month secondment at i2CAT 
(Barcelona, Spain).

The ESR will play a key role in contributing to the 5GSmartFact 
objectives, focusing on mobile robot 5G-enabled localization systems to 
support industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) applications.

The position offers highly competitive and attractive salary for 
Portuguese cost of living of about 30.000€ per year, which includes 
living allowance and mobility allowance. When applicable, a monthly 
family allowance is added as per MSCA regulations.
