Universidad de Alcala (Intelligent System Group (ISG)) The Intelligent System Group (http://bit.do/fTcmu) is a center of excellence in Intelligent System, which is located at the Escuela Politécnica of the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). The goal of the group is to conduct cutting-edge research on Artificial Intelligence and its applications. To date, in the domain of smart energy management, we have worked in an Autonomic Energy Management Platform based on Data for Smart Buildings, which defined a suite of autonomic cycles, for the general management of the energy used in a building. This considers, among other functionalities, the supervision, optimization & control of distributed generation and consumption of energy resources. Furthermore, we have also worked on the definition of smart energy management and trading through Blockchain technology and customized electricity pricing mechanisms to manage the energy resources through fair electricity prices among residential users, electric vehicle parking lots, and individual vehicles. As the ISG group is currently involved the researcher from different backgrounds and diverse experiences in their respective domains. Therefore, we are seeking to join consortia to offer our expertise in smart energy and smart management systems to solve the aforementioned challenges highlighted in calls.
