1st Open Day and Workshop @ ISR-UC (14th of July, 14h00) 

The Institute of Systems and Robotics is promoting a Workshop to present the ongoing research works of the Post-Doc researchers and PhD students within the institution . This is the first time this event is happening and it is of major importance that all the members of this institution contribute to it. This is the perfect opportunity to bring together, in a positive and productive environment, all the members of this community to share ideas to create new collaborations and synergies. It will also allow the public presentation of the ISR's excellent research to a broader audience outside its walls. 

This event will take place at ISR on the 14th of July from 2 p.m. forward. It will be divided in 10-minuteoral presentations and poster sessions. There will be an extended coffee break for poster presentations and social interaction. At the end of the event there will be a gathering for a relaxed social interaction with free beverages. 

The presentation of each work should be focused on the scientific question it is addressing and what is being developed to address it. It can as well be presented ongoing projects and their objectives. 

This e-mail is a call for contributions, calling for all Post-docs and PhD students within ISR-UC to send the following information until the 29th of June: 
- Presenter's Name 
- Position (Post-Doc or PhD Student) 
- ISR's laboratory where the works take place 
- Contribution's title 

The definition of the program and of what works will be presented as rather oral presentation or as a poster, will be provided on the 1st of July.
