The Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica (ISR) – Universidade de Coimbra opens a call for 1 (one) research grant for PhD holders, in the scope of the Scientific Research Project “Human-AI Codesign of Robotic and Personalized Compliant Exoskins for Physical Exercises, Prosthesis and Rehabilitation, with the reference CMU/TIC/0045/2021 in the following conditions:

 

Scientific area: chemical engineering, chemistry or biomedical engineering.

 

Skills/Qualifications/Admission requirements: This grant is for a Post-Doc from chemical engineering, chemistry, or biomedical engineering, with the objective of investigation and development of new composites for printed actuators and batteries. Knowledge on the field of printed sensors, batteries and printed electronics is necessary.

 

Work plan/ Objectives: The work plan includes research, development and characterization of printable smart materials that sense, act, and store energy.
