Open Day openday at isr.uc.pt
Wed Nov 6 10:23:59 WET 2024

Dear PhD Students,

This is a final gentle reminder for the next weeks' event. As previously mentioned, ISR is organizing an Open Research Day on the 13th of November. You are expected to prepare a Poster for this event. Your participation is crucial for the success of this event. Last year's event was a success, due to all the PhD students' contributions. This year we would like to keep the same quality standards.

We kindly ask you to make a poster of your current research work to be presented during this event.

Thank you in advance for your contribution, we inform you of the steps you should follow below:

POSTER PREPARATION:
- Use the template that you can find at the event's website (https://web.isr.uc.pt/open-day-templates/#template), to create your Poster (in case you are using LaTeX, create a Poster respecting the template).
- The poster has to respect the template, especially the FCT's funding information that is present at the bottom.
- Design the Poster in A1 format.
- Register you participation as quickly as possible here:
https://forms.gle/q5UBdQFuM5GvVcF59

- When your poster is ready, you can print it free of charge at the Civil Engineering Department, at ACIV - Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Engenharia Civil, until the 13th of November. Posters that are printed elsewhere will not be refunded.
- When you go for printing, identify yourself as an ISR's open day participant.
- You are responsible for printing and bringing in the Poster.

The programme will be revealed soon.

We would like to ask you for your help to disseminate this event among your fellow PhD students at ISR, in case we have not reached them all. Potential attendees will have to register for free at the website below.

Once again thank you for your support.

Kind regards,
