IFMBE SCIENTIFIC CHALLENGE: CALL FOR PARTICIPATION 
Dear Colleague, 

We would like to invite you to participate in the MEDICON IFMBE 2019 Scientific Challenge. This year, the participant teams are challenged to develop Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) based on the detection of the P300 signal in electroencephalograms (EEG), to identify which object in a virtual reality environment the subjects are attending to. 
A rich dataset comprising 15 subjects with autism spectrum disorder, undergoing 7 sessions of using a BCI in a virtual environment, are provided for the teams to develop their models. The team that attains the highest accuracy will earn a 1000€ prize during the MEDICON 2019 conference ( www.medicon2019.org ), to be held in Coimbra, Portugal (Sep 26-28).
